Episode 6; The Giver of Gifts

Many people listed in scripture try to imitate or replicate gods power, Such as the magicians in exodus, Simon the magician and the exorcists here in acts 19 that utterly failed. In many ways, they all want the power of Jesus, without a relationship with Jesus. But as scripture shows us,

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

James 1:17

1. How do you see the world trying to replicate the works, miracles or blessings from God? 

2. We can easily make an idol of a miracle or blessing God has given us. How can we focus on the giver rather than the gift?
