Episode 5: The Proof of Salvation

Ephesians 1:13-14 tells us, 

13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Jesus promised us the holy spirit throughout the gospel of John and also said a tree is known by its fruit. further John 8:31 and 32, Jesus tells us “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

As Acts 19 demonstrated, again, the presence and discipline of the Holy Spirit in our lives is the ultimate proof of genuine salvation.  It’s the Truth that sets us free and living the truth that proves we are his disciples, as we worship HIM in Spirit and in truth
