27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. - Jn 14:27

Jesus, in His final hours, assured His disciples that they would never be abandoned, for He was sending the Holy Spirit—the divine Helper, Comforter, and Teacher—to dwell within them forever. In John 14:15-31, Jesus unveils the profound reality that the Holy Spirit is not just a temporary aid but an indwelling presence that empowers, guides, and reminds believers of His truth. The Spirit’s work is transformative, illuminating Scripture, strengthening our obedience, and deepening our relationship with the Father. He is the very presence of Christ within us, offering an unshakable peace that the world cannot give and the assurance that we are never alone. Through the Spirit, we are equipped for greater works, emboldened to walk in faith, and enabled to persevere through every trial. His presence is the seal of our salvation, the witness of our adoption, and the power by which we live victoriously. As we yield to His guidance, we find true comfort, supernatural peace, and the courage to advance the kingdom of God with boldness. Christ’s final exhortation—“Arise, let us go from here”—is a call to action, urging us to step forward in obedience, fully reliant on the Spirit’s power. Let us embrace His presence, walk in His peace, and move forward in confidence, knowing that the Spirit of the Living God is within us, leading us every step of the way.

How have you personally experienced the Holy Spirit as a Helper in your walk with Christ?
