Ephesians 1 Part 3
There are two kinds of wisdom competing for your heart. One is the wisdom of the world. It’s loud, it’s appealing, and it’s always changing. It defines success by your possessions and your position, and it builds its truth on shifting sand—what’s popular today is foolishness tomorrow. This wisdom tells you to trust your feelings, chase your ambitions, and conform to the patterns around you. But the Bible warns that this path leads only to a dead end. The other wisdom is from God. It is quiet, eternal, and found in the person of Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned by intelligence or bought with wealth; it is a divine gift, revealed by the Holy Spirit to those who are wholly His. This wisdom redefines success as transformation, power as surrender, and truth as the unchanging Word of God. It is the spiritual eyesight that allows you to see past the world's cheap counterfeits and grasp the eternal hope, the glorious inheritance, and the resurrection power that are yours in Christ. You cannot live with a foot in both worlds. To be lukewarm is to be refined by neither. To be double-minded is to receive nothing. Today is a day to choose your source. Will you continue to drink from the world's shallow, polluted streams, or will you ask for the pure, life-giving wisdom that flows only from the throne of God?Read Ephesians 1:7-14. After studying this passage, what is the single most impactful truth about your inheritance in Christ that you want to carry with you into the week ahead?
